Grafietpotlood Staedtler 100A G6

The Staedtler 100A G6 graphite pencil is manufactured in Germany and designed for reliable writing and drawing. It uses high-quality graphite that produces smooth, consistent strokes suitable for sketches, technical drawings and everyday writing. The pencil has a hexagonal wooden barrel for secure handling and a break-resistant lead that reduces interruptions during use.

Advantages

The pencil combines a refined graphite composition with a durable, break-resistant core to deliver consistent line quality and long-lasting performance. Its hexagonal shape improves grip stability, helping to maintain precision during extended use. The clean tempering of the wood and even graphite distribution reduce smudging and provide predictable tonal control for shading and detailed work.

Suitable for

• Sketching and freehand drawing
• Technical and architectural drafting
• Note-taking and general writing
• Shading and tonal studies in art

Key specifications

• Core material: high-quality graphite
• Barrel shape: hexagonal wooden barrel for comfortable grip
• Lead characteristic: break-resistant lead for improved durability
• Finish: smoothly sanded wood with even tempering
• Origin: manufactured in Germany

How to use

Sharpen the pencil with a quality sharpener to expose the desired lead length for fine lines or broader strokes. Hold the hexagonal barrel between your fingers to maintain a steady grip and control pressure for lighter or darker marks. For cross-hatching or tonal blending, vary the angle and pressure gradually to achieve smooth transitions. Store the pencil in a protective case or holder to prevent accidental breakage of the lead.

Recommendations

The Staedtler 100A G6 performs best when paired with a well-matched sharpener and a clean drawing surface; use a soft eraser for corrections and consider keeping spare pencils for continuous work.
