UPS-accu verzegeld loodzuur Green Cell AGM16

The Green Cell AGM16 is a 6V 10Ah sealed lead‑acid (VRLA) battery designed for UPS and backup power applications. Constructed from high‑quality materials and using AGM technology, the electrolyte is absorbed into a fiberglass separator to prevent leakage, allowing safe operation in various positions. The compact, sealed design supports long service life and safer handling compared with traditional flooded lead‑acid batteries.

Advantages

AGM technology eliminates free liquid electrolyte by absorbing it into a fiberglass mat, which reduces the risk of leakage and enables installation in non‑upright positions. The sealed construction minimizes maintenance, and the battery’s compact dimensions and relatively low weight simplify installation in UPS units and other confined spaces. Designed for both frequent use and occasional operation, it provides stable performance for backup power needs.

Suitable for

• Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS)
• Emergency lighting systems
• Small backup power modules and electronic devices
• Portable equipment requiring 6V backup

How to use

Before installation, verify compatibility with the target UPS or device (voltage and capacity). Connect the battery following the equipment manufacturer’s polarity markings and terminal recommendations. Ensure terminals are secure and free of corrosion. After installation, perform a controlled charge according to the UPS or charger instructions and follow any break‑in charging procedure recommended by your system. Observe the device manufacturer's guidelines for charging voltage and current limits.

Recommendations

Store and operate the battery in a dry, well‑ventilated area at moderate temperatures. Avoid deep discharges when possible and recharge the battery after each significant discharge to extend service life. Do not open, crush, or incinerate the sealed battery. Dispose of according to local regulations for lead‑acid batteries.
