Groentemes JATA MOD. AC37

The JATA MOD. AC37 vegetable knife set comprises two stainless steel knives each with a 10 cm blade designed specifically for precise vegetable preparation. The set is intended for everyday kitchen use and focuses on control and accuracy when trimming, slicing and shaping fruits and vegetables. Stainless steel blades provide corrosion resistance and a surface that is easy to maintain, while the compact blade length supports detailed cutting tasks.

Advantages

The knives feature 10 cm stainless steel blades that balance sharpness and durability for repeated kitchen use. Their compact size enhances handling and control for tasks that require precision rather than large chopping. The stainless steel construction offers resistance to rust and simple cleaning, and the matching set provides consistency in feel and performance across both knives.

Suitable for

• Peeling and trimming fruits and vegetables
• Slicing small produce such as cherry tomatoes, radishes and shallots
• Creating garnishes and decorative cuts
• Precision tasks like deveining shrimp or removing seeds

Key specifications

• Number of knives: 2
• Blade material: stainless steel
• Blade length: 10 cm
• Intended use: vegetable and small produce preparation
• Handle type: ergonomic design for controlled grip (material: stainless steel/compatible with blade)

How to use

Hold the knife with a firm but relaxed grip, positioning your fingers on the handle to allow precise tip and edge control. For peeling, use the tip or the short edge with a gentle forward or downward motion. For slicing, place the produce on a stable cutting board and use a back-and-forth or rocking motion as appropriate for the item size. Use the smaller blade length for detailed decorative work and for tasks that require reaching into tight areas.

Recommendations

Hand wash with warm soapy water and dry immediately to preserve the stainless steel finish; avoid prolonged soaking and abrasive cleaners. Regularly hone the blades using a honing rod and sharpen when performance diminishes. Store the knives in a block, magnetic strip or protective sheath to maintain edge condition and ensure safety.
