Groothoeklens IWH 73556 voor achterruit, 255 mm x 205 mm

IWH Wide Angle Lens 73556 for Rear Window, 255 mm x 205 mm is a replacement optical element designed to fit into compatible rear window assemblies. The lens enlarges the visible field compared with a standard flat lens, providing a wider viewing angle to support visibility while reversing, monitoring rearward traffic, or observing equipment operation. It is shaped and sized for direct installation into rear-facing housings that accept a 255 mm x 205 mm pane.

Advantages

The wide-angle geometry increases peripheral visibility and reduces rear blind spots without requiring electronic processing. Manufactured to optical clarity standards suitable for vehicle and equipment use, the lens offers consistent light transmission and a distortion profile optimized for practical rearward viewing. Its form factor allows direct replacement in rear window frames sized 255 mm x 205 mm, simplifying service and reducing downtime.

How to use

Remove the existing rear window pane or lens following the equipment or vehicle manufacturer's instructions. Clean the frame and sealing surfaces to remove dirt and old sealant. Position the IWH wide angle lens into the rear window frame ensuring that the 255 mm × 205 mm dimensions align with the mounting recess. Secure the lens with the original retaining hardware or approved sealant, and verify that the lens is seated evenly and free of gaps. After installation, check visibility from the driver's position and confirm that the lens does not interfere with any sensors or mechanical components.

Recommendations

Inspect the lens regularly for scratches, clouding, or damage that may impair visibility. Clean with a mild, non-abrasive cleaner and a soft cloth to maintain optical clarity. Replace the lens if warping, deep scratches, or material degradation are present. Confirm compatibility with the rear window frame and any mounting gaskets before installation.
