Haakse cinch-stekker (RCA) ShiverPeaks 51410-S – haakse audio-/videostekker

The Right-angle cinch (RCA) connector ShiverPeaks 51410-S is a right-angle audio/video connector designed for reliable signal connections in confined spaces. It is intended for audio and video signal routing, panel mounting, cable repair or assembly, and installations where a straight connector would interfere with nearby components. The connector is supplied in black and fits standard RCA (cinch) interfaces commonly used with AV equipment, amplifiers, DVD and Blu-ray players, and home theater systems.

Advantages

The right-angle design reduces strain on cables and saves space behind equipment, enabling neater installations in tight cabinets or rack setups. Compatibility with standard cinch/RCA sockets makes it suitable for replacement or assembly tasks without requiring proprietary adapters. Its straightforward construction allows quick insertion and secure contact for analogue audio and composite video signals.

Suitable for

• Connecting audio outputs and inputs on amplifiers and receivers
• Linking DVD/Blu-ray players, set-top boxes and legacy video sources to displays
• Panel mounts and rear connections in AV cabinets or custom enclosures
• Cable repair, termination and DIY audio/video cable assembly

Key specifications

• Connector type: right-angle cinch (RCA) plug
• Colour: black
• Application: analogue audio and composite video signal connections
• Mounting style: inline/right-angle for rear access and confined spaces

How to use

Insert the right-angle cinch connector into the corresponding RCA socket until a secure contact is achieved. For cable assembly or repair, prepare the cable conductors according to standard solder or crimp practices for RCA plugs, then secure the connection and replace any insulating sleeve or housing. Ensure the connector orientation matches the available space so the right-angle profile routes the cable away from obstructions and reduces bending stress at the junction.

Recommendations

Use this connector in installations where rear clearance is limited and where a standard straight plug would be prone to bending or damage. Verify compatibility with the target equipment’s RCA sockets and follow safe soldering or crimping procedures when assembling cables.
