Advantages

The Gorenje GI 561 D 10 S EB combines a slim 45 cm width with an 11-place capacity, allowing installation in narrower kitchen units while still handling a typical family’s daily dishes. Low operational noise of 45 dB supports use in open-plan kitchens or apartments without causing significant disturbance. Multiple wash programs and a delayed start timer allow flexible scheduling and adaptation to different dish types and soil levels. Water consumption of about 9 L per cycle helps manage household water use.

Suitable for

• Small to medium households or apartments with limited kitchen width
• Users who need a relatively quiet dishwasher for open-plan living spaces
• Homes that require a compact dishwasher with a variety of wash programs
• Situations where saving water per cycle is desirable

When it may not be suitable

This model may not be suitable for very large households or for users who routinely need to wash large volumes of dishes at once, as the 11 place settings capacity is limited compared with full-size dishwashers. It may also be less attractive for buyers seeking the highest energy efficiency available, since the appliance is rated energy class D.

How to use

Install the dishwasher semi‑built into a suitable 45 cm cabinet space following the manufacturer’s installation instructions. Load dishes according to size and soil level, placing delicate glassware in the upper rack and heavily soiled pots on the lower rack. Select an appropriate program — use Intensive 70°C for heavily soiled cookware, Glass/Delicate for fragile items, and Auto for mixed loads where the machine adjusts temperature between 45–65°C. Set the delayed start if you want the cycle to begin later. Use recommended dishwasher detergent and rinse aid for best results.

What to consider before purchase

• Check the installation width and cabinetry depth to ensure the 45 cm slimline unit fits the designated space.
• Consider whether the 11 place settings capacity meets your household’s daily needs.
• Evaluate the energy class D rating against your priorities for electricity consumption.
• Verify that a half-load option is not required, as this model does not include it.

Recommendations

For best performance, regularly clean filters and spray arms, use recommended detergents and rinse aids, and choose programs appropriate to load size and soil level. Running full loads when possible improves water and energy efficiency for the Gorenje GI 561 D 10 S EB.
