Hama 00108841 overspanningsbeveiliging zwart 3 AC-stopcontact(en) 230 V 3 m

The Hama 00108841 Black surge protector provides three AC outlets with a nominal input voltage of 230 V and a maximum connected load up to 3500 W. Housed in a durable plastic enclosure and fitted with a 3 m power cable, this model is designed to connect multiple electrical devices and to help protect them from short-term voltage spikes. Sockets are angled at 45° to improve connector access and the unit includes integrated child protection and GS approval for safety compliance.

Advantages

This surge protector combines compact design with practical features: three widely spaced AC outlets allow simultaneous connection of adapters and bulky plugs, and the angled sockets make it easier to route cables. The 3 m cable length increases placement flexibility in rooms with limited nearby sockets. Built-in child protection reduces the risk of accidental contact with live contacts, while safety approval ensures the product meets recognized testing standards. The sturdy plastic housing offers impact resistance and ease of cleaning.

How to use

Place the surge protector on a stable, dry surface and uncoil the 3 m cable to reach a wall outlet. Insert devices into the angled sockets ensuring their combined power consumption does not exceed the unit's maximum rating. For best results, organise plugs so ventilation around connected devices is not obstructed and avoid stacking heavy objects on the unit. If a device requires a grounded connection, use the corresponding three-pin plugs. Regularly inspect the cable and housing for damage and disconnect the unit from mains before cleaning.

Recommendations

Do not use the surge protector in damp or wet environments and avoid connecting high-power appliances such as electric heaters or kettles that may exceed the rated load. For sensitive electronics, combine this unit with regular backups and proper grounding for optimal protection.
