Hama 00200121 interface-hub USB 2.0 480 Mbit/s zwart

The Hama 00200121 USB Hub is a compact USB 2.0 hub that expands a single USB port into four downstream ports. It supports high-speed data transfer up to 480 Mbps and is powered directly via USB, making it suitable for connecting peripherals to Windows and Mac systems. The hub has a small footprint (56 × 56 × 13 mm) and a short integrated cable (0.15 m), and comes in black.

Advantages

The hub provides four USB 2.0 ports for connecting mice, keyboards, flash drives and other USB devices. Its USB-powered design eliminates the need for an external power adapter. The compact dimensions and lightweight construction make it easy to carry and position on a desk or in a bag.

How to use

Connect the hub's built-in USB plug to an available USB port on your computer. After the system recognises the device, plug your USB peripherals into the hub's four downstream ports. The hub is powered via the host USB connection; no separate power supply is required for typical low-power devices. For best performance, connect high-bandwidth devices one at a time if multiple transfers are occurring simultaneously.

Recommendations

Use the hub with peripherals that conform to USB 2.0 specifications. If you connect multiple high-power devices (external hard drives, optical drives), consider using a powered USB hub to ensure stable operation.
