The Hama USB Hub 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A Type-C (5000 Mbit/s) is a compact, anthracite-coloured hub that expands a single USB host port into multiple USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports while also offering a Type-C host/interface. It supports data transfer rates up to 5 Gbps, comes in a sturdy aluminium housing, and can be powered via the USB connection or an additional power supply for stable device-neutral power delivery. A USB Type-C male to USB Type-A female adapter is included.

Advantages

The hub delivers super speed data transfer up to 5 Gbps and uses high-quality materials and workmanship to ensure consistent transmission quality. Its robust aluminium housing provides mechanical protection and a refined finish. Large socket spacing accommodates wide plugs without interference, and flexible cable materials improve kink protection to reduce the risk of cable damage. An optional external power supply allows stable power to multiple connected devices.

Suitable for

• Connecting external hard drives and SSDs for fast data transfer
• Attaching multiple USB peripherals such as keyboards, mice and printers
• Charging and powering USB devices when used with the additional power supply
• Expanding available USB ports on laptops, desktops and mini-PCs

How to use

Connect the hub to a computer host using the integrated USB Type-A or Type-C connection as required. Plug your USB devices into the available Type-A ports. If you need stable, device-neutral power for multiple peripherals or for high-power devices, connect the additional power supply (when provided) to the hub and then to mains power. Use the included USB Type-C male to USB Type-A female adapter when connecting Type-C devices to a Type-A host or vice versa.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, connect high-speed storage devices directly to the hub while ensuring the external power supply is connected when running multiple power-demanding peripherals. Avoid bending the cable sharply and allow sufficient spacing between connectors to prevent interference from wide plugs.
