Hama 00205079 coaxkabel 5 m F zwart, grijs

The Hama 00205079 coaxial cable (5 m) with F-plugs at both ends is designed for reliable signal transmission in audio and video setups, for example between TVs, satellite receivers and set-top boxes. The cable features a fabric jacket in black and grey and a robust metal F-connector with gold plating to ensure low contact resistance and stable signal transfer.

Advantages

This coaxial cable offers quad-shielding with a total screening rate of 120 dB (two layers of high-density braid plus shielding foil) to minimise electromagnetic interference. The high-tech sheath is reinforced with aramid fibres for improved heat resistance, mechanical strength and long service life. Shielded internal conductors and a coaxial structure support clear treble and rich bass, while flexible, elastic TPE materials and a kink-protective fabric jacket simplify installation and reduce the risk of cable damage.

How to use

Connect one F-plug to the output of your source device (for example a satellite receiver) and the other F-plug to the input of the television or tuner. Ensure connectors are screwed on firmly but do not overtighten. Route the cable avoiding sharp bends and pinching; the flexible design and fabric jacket help prevent kinks and breakage. If used outdoors or in exposed locations, protect connectors from moisture.

Recommendations

For best performance, use the cable for short to medium runs (such as within a living room) and avoid running it parallel to high-power electrical cables. Regularly inspect connectors for corrosion and clean contacts if necessary to maintain low contact resistance and optimal signal quality.
