Hama 00300006 Netwerkkabel zwart 1,5 m Cat6a S/FTP (S-STP)

The Hama 00300006 RJ-45 Cat6a networking cable is a 1.5 m black patch cable designed for high-speed wired connections. Compliant with the Cat6a standard and supporting data transfer rates up to 10 Gbps, this cable is equipped with RJ-45 connectors on both ends and features S/FTP double shielding for reduced electromagnetic interference.

Advantages

Double shielding (S/FTP) improves resistance to external electromagnetic and radio-frequency interference. The Cat6a specification and support for up to 10 Gbps enable reliable high-bandwidth data transfer for modern networks. Flexible sheath materials provide enhanced kink protection and reduce the risk of cable breakage, simplifying installation and long-term use.

How to use

Connect each RJ-45 connector to the RJ-45 ports of the devices you wish to link, such as a router, switch or computer. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until they click to establish a secure connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and excessive stress; the flexible sheath helps protect against kinking but standard cable-management practices are recommended.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this Cat6a S/FTP cable for intra-network links where 1 Gbps to 10 Gbps throughput is required; avoid running the cable parallel to power lines for long distances to minimize potential interference.
