Netwerkkabel LOGON SSTP Cat6a RJ-45 RJ-45 5 m geel

The LOGON SSTP Cat6a RJ-45 to RJ-45 networking cable, 5 m in yellow, is designed for high-speed wired data transmission in home and professional networks. It uses four twisted pairs with foil and full braid shielding to maintain signal integrity and supports the Cat6a standard for up to 10 Gbps links. Both ends have shielded RJ45 male connectors and a boot with kink protection and strain relief; wiring follows a 1:1 EIA/TIA 568B pinout.

Advantages

The SSTP construction combines foil and overall braid shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference and crosstalk. AWG 26/7 twisted pairs provide stable impedance of 100 Ohm for reliable high-frequency performance. Shielded RJ45 connectors and strain-relief boots improve connector longevity and reduce the risk of cable damage at connection points. The 5 m length offers flexibility for most desktop and rack installations while the yellow jacket increases visibility for cable management.

Suitable for

• 10 Gigabit Ethernet connections in short to medium runs
• Structured cabling in offices, server rooms, and home networks
• Connections between network switches, patch panels and devices
• Environments with elevated electromagnetic interference where shielded cables are preferred

Key specifications

• Cable type: SSTP Cat6a, 4 x 2 x AWG 26/7 twisted pair
• Impedance: 100 Ohm
• Connectors: 2 x shielded RJ45 male
• Wiring: 1:1 EIA/TIA 568B
• Length: 5 m
• Colour: Yellow

How to use

Connect each RJ45 male connector to the corresponding RJ45 port on your network devices (for example switch, router, patch panel or computer). Ensure connectors are fully seated until the latch clicks. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and pinch points; use the integrated boot and strain relief to reduce stress at the connector ends. Verify link speed and duplex settings on connected devices after installation.

Recommendations

The cable is suitable for indoor use within its 5 m length; avoid exposure to moisture, excessive heat, or outdoor burial. For optimal performance, keep the cable separated from high-voltage power lines and maintain bend radius according to standard practice.
