Hama 00300017 netwerkkabel grijs 20 m Cat6 F/UTP (FTP)

The Hama 00300017 RJ-45 Cat6 networking cable is a 20 m grey cable designed for wired LAN connections. It supports Gigabit Ethernet data transfer up to 1 Gbps and uses F/UTP shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference. Both ends are fitted with RJ-45 connectors and the flexible jacket provides kink protection to reduce the risk of cable breakage.

Advantages

F/UTP shielding provides improved protection against external interference while Cat6 specification supports 10/100/1000Base-T(X) networks. The 20 m length offers extended reach for home or office setups, and the flexible materials help prevent kinks and extend cable lifespan. Grey colour offers a neutral appearance that integrates with most environments.

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the Ethernet port of your router, switch or modem and the other into the device to be connected (PC, printer, gaming console, etc.). Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and protect it from sharp edges or heavy foot traffic to maintain signal integrity.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid running the cable parallel to power lines or sources of strong electromagnetic interference. When installing along walls or through conduits, allow gentle curves rather than sharp bends to preserve the cable's kink protection and shielding effectiveness.
