Hama 00305023 audiokabel 1,5 m TOSLINK zwart

The Hama 00305023 TOSLINK audio cable is a 1.5 m digital optical cable with male TOSLINK connectors on both ends, designed for transmitting digital audio signals between compatible devices. Its black exterior and standardized connectors make it suitable for home entertainment setups where interference-free sound transfer is needed. The cable supports optical digital audio transmission for clear left/right and multichannel audio signals when used with devices that have optical audio ports.

Advantages

The cable uses optical transmission to avoid electrical interference and ground loop noise, delivering clear digital audio. With a 1.5 m length it provides flexibility for connecting devices in typical home setups without excess slack. TOSLINK-to-TOSLINK connectors ensure plug-and-play compatibility with most TVs, soundbars, AV receivers, CD/DVD/Blu-ray players and gaming consoles that include optical outputs or inputs. The black finish offers a discreet appearance that blends with most audio/video equipment.

How to use

Locate the optical (TOSLINK) output on the source device and the optical input on the receiving device. Remove any protective caps from the connectors, align the keyed plug and insert it gently into the port until it clicks or seats securely. Repeat the process for the other end. Configure the audio output format on the source device if necessary (for example PCM or Dolby Digital) and set the receiving device to the optical input. Avoid bending the cable sharply near the connectors to maintain signal integrity.

Recommendations

Use the cable in indoor environments away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep connector ends covered when not in use to prevent dust accumulation. Do not force connectors into ports; if a connector does not fit, verify that the ports are optical TOSLINK type. For stable performance, avoid tight bends and heavy pressure on the cable run.
