Hama HDMI 2m HDMI-kabel HDMI type A (standaard) HDMI type D (micro) zwart

The Hama 74240H HDMI cable (2 m) connects devices with an HDMI Type A (Standard) plug to devices with an HDMI Type D (Micro) socket. It supports high-resolution video up to 4096 x 2160 pixels and transmits audio formats including PCM, Dolby Digital, DTS and lossless formats. The cable features gold-plated contacts and full shielding for stable signal quality and reduced electromagnetic interference, and has a black jacket for a discreet appearance.

Advantages

Gold-plated plug contacts improve contact quality and help ensure optimum signal transmission. Fully shielded audio and video lines reduce electromagnetic interference. The cable supports high-speed data transfer up to 10.2 Gbit/s, includes an integrated Ethernet channel (HEC) for network functionality and an Audio Return Channel (ARC) for simplified audio routing. HDMI CEC and ACE support enable device control and automatic content enhancement.

How to use

Plug the HDMI Type A connector into the display device (TV, monitor or projector) and the HDMI Type D (Micro) connector into the source device (camera, smartphone or portable player) that has a micro-HDMI socket. Ensure both devices are powered on and select the corresponding HDMI input on the display. If required, enable ARC or HDMI CEC in device settings to use audio return or unified control functions.

Recommendations

For reliable signal transmission, avoid sharp bends and heavy compression of the cable; route it away from large power cables and strong electromagnetic sources. For maximum compatibility, verify that connected devices support the desired resolution, audio formats and HEC/ARC functions.
