Hama Mykonos zwart batterij binnen buiten thermometer regensensor

The Hama Mykonos Black Battery Indoor Outdoor Thermometer Rain Sensor is a compact weather instrument designed for simple monitoring of indoor and outdoor temperatures and precipitation detection. The unit features a monochrome built-in display and supports temperature readouts in both Celsius and Fahrenheit. It runs on standard AAA and AA batteries, enabling flexible placement around the home, in a garage, or on a covered porch. The device also includes clock and alarm functions to combine basic timekeeping with environmental monitoring.

Advantages

This HAMA thermometer offers a broad outdoor temperature range to accommodate diverse climates and a practical indoor measurement span for living spaces. The integrated rain sensor provides automatic precipitation detection, helping you track weather changes without manual checking. The monochrome display presents clear numeric values and icons for temperature, rain status, time, and alarm, while battery operation removes the need for fixed wiring and simplifies installation.

How to use

Install fresh AAA and/or AA batteries according to the compartment labeling and switch on the device. Place the main unit indoors on a flat surface or mount it where it is easily visible. Position the outdoor sensor or the device’s rain-sensing surface in a sheltered outdoor location that is exposed to precipitation but protected from direct sunlight where possible. Select your preferred temperature unit (°C or °F) using the device controls, set the clock and alarm if needed, and allow several minutes for the sensor to stabilise and display accurate readings.

Recommendations

For reliable outdoor temperature and rain detection, mount the sensor under a small overhang or shield that still allows precipitation to reach the rain sensor while preventing direct sun or heavy splash from skewing temperature values. Replace batteries promptly when low battery indications appear, and avoid placing the indoor unit near heat sources or drafts to ensure accurate indoor measurements.
