Hama Regular R-98 zaklamp, zwart, 9 LEDs, 30 lm, aluminium

Compact yet surprisingly capable, the Hama Regular R-98 cuts through the clutter of oversized torches with a slim aluminium body that slips into a pocket or glovebox without fuss. Nine LEDs push a useful 30-lumen beam up to 15 metres, enough for close-range tasks, power cuts, or late-night walks. The push-button tail switch sits naturally under the thumb, and the three AAA batteries keep it running for up to 10 hours—so you are not constantly swapping cells.

Highlights

• 9 bright LEDs deliver 30 lumens of cool, even light
• Beam reaches up to 15 metres for indoor and outdoor use
• Rugged aluminium housing with a black finish
• Simple push-button operation—no twisting or cycling
• Runs on 3 AAA batteries (not included) for up to 10 hours
• Lightweight at 60 g and just 95 mm long

In daily use

Keep the R-98 by the front door for quick trips to the fuse box, in the car for roadside checks, or in a backpack for camping. The 28 mm head diameter gives a balanced spot that is wide enough for walking but focused enough to read a map. Because it uses standard AAA cells, you can always find replacements at any shop—no proprietary chargers or cables required. The aluminium body shrugs off knocks and drops, and the black anodised finish resists scratches and fingerprints.
