How to use

Attach the lens hood to the front of a compatible lens according to the lens or hood mounting mechanism. Extend or unfold it when shooting to block unwanted side light; fold it flat for storage or transport. Verify correct alignment to avoid vignetting on wide-angle lenses.

Recommendations

Use the hood unfolded in conditions with strong side light or backlight to reduce flare. Fold it when storing the camera in a bag or when using lenses that might vignette with extended hoods.
