Hama Traveller 163 balhoofdstatief digitale camera's/filmcamera's 3 poten zwart

The Hama Traveller 163 Ball tripod provides stable support for digital and film cameras, allowing smooth, non-jerky images on uneven surfaces. Compact and lightweight, it extends from 21 cm to 163 cm, supports up to 4 kg and is suitable for travel, outdoor trips and fieldwork. The aluminium construction, quick-release plate with safety catch and a 3D ball head with spirit vial enable reliable alignment for portrait and landscape shots.

Advantages

The tripod combines a lightweight aluminium design with robust features: quick-action leg locks for fast height adjustment, a centre-column brake to lock the column in place, rubber and spiked feet for firm grip on different surfaces, and non-slip foam leg covers for use in various weather conditions. The quick-release plate has a click function and safety catch for fast, secure camera changes, while the inverted position and extendable legs allow low-angle and macro photography. A hook on the centre column permits adding weight for extra stability in strong wind or rough terrain.

How to use

Mount the quick-release plate to your camera and engage the safety catch. Open the quick-action leg locks and extend the legs to the desired height, then secure the locks. Use the centre-column brake to set or lock the column position; the column can be inverted for close-to-ground and macro shots. Adjust the 3D ball head to align the camera in portrait or landscape format and use the spirit vial to level the setup. For slippery or soft ground, switch to the spikes on the feet; for hard surfaces use the rubber feet. If necessary, hang a weight on the centre-column hook to increase stability.

Recommendations

For transport, fold the legs and secure the quick-release plate to avoid accidental release. Regularly check the leg locks, centre-column brake and quick-release safety catch for wear or dirt to ensure reliable operation. Use spikes only on soft or slippery terrain and switch to rubber feet on finished surfaces to avoid damage.
