Hamerboorset Bosch PRO SDS plus-5X, 5-delig (SDS-plus)

Bosch PRO SDS plus-5X is a 5-piece hammer drill bit set designed for use with SDS-plus chucks. The set contains five SDS-plus bits engineered for drilling in concrete and masonry. Bits feature a geometry intended to improve drilling progress and reduce jamming, while the SDS-plus shank provides a secure connection to compatible rotary hammer tools. The set is suitable for both professional tradespeople and DIY users who need reliable performance for construction, renovation and fastening tasks.

Advantages

The SDS-plus bits deliver consistent drilling performance in concrete and masonry thanks to optimized tip geometry and flute design that support efficient debris removal. The standardized SDS-plus shank ensures secure, quick insertion and release in compatible chucks, reducing downtime when changing bits. A compact 5-piece assortment offers a selection of common diameters for everyday drilling tasks, providing straightforward compatibility with a wide range of rotary hammers using SDS-plus mounts.

Suitable for

• Drilling holes in concrete and solid masonry for anchors and dowels
• Installation of fixtures, brackets and conduits in construction and renovation
• Professional and home improvement projects requiring SDS-plus rotary hammers

Key specifications

• Number of pieces: 5
• Shank type: SDS-plus
• Intended material: concrete and masonry
• Application: hammer drilling with SDS-plus rotary hammers

How to use

Select a bit size appropriate for the anchor or fastener being installed. Insert the SDS-plus shank fully into the rotary hammer chuck until it locks. Set the tool to hammer-drilling mode and apply steady pressure while allowing the tool to do the work; avoid excessive side force that could damage the bit or tool. Periodically retract the bit to clear dust from the hole and maintain drilling efficiency. After use, release the bit from the chuck by pulling back the sleeve and remove the bit for storage.

Recommendations

Use appropriate personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, hearing protection and dust mask when drilling. Match drill diameter to anchor or fixing instructions and work at recommended speeds for the rotary hammer. Store bits dry and clean to reduce wear and prolong service life.
