Handcirkelzaag Metabo KS 18 LTX 66 BL 16,5 cm zwart grijs

The Metabo KS 18 LTX 66 BL 16.5 cm Black Grey is a cordless circular saw engineered for precise, portable wood cutting. Equipped with a 16.5 cm blade and brushless motor technology, the saw delivers consistent cutting performance while maintaining compact dimensions and battery-powered mobility. Its design balances stable cutting geometry with ergonomic handling to support both on-site and workshop tasks.

Advantages

The brushless motor increases efficiency and reduces maintenance compared with brushed designs, while the cordless 18 V power enables use without a mains connection. The saw's compact blade diameter and low weight aid maneuverability in tight spaces and for overhead cuts. An adjustable base plate allows accurate depth and angle settings, and durable build materials contribute to long service life under regular use.

Suitable for

• Ripping and cross-cutting of soft and hardwoods on job sites
• Panel and sheet cutting for carpentry and interior finishing
• Portable cutting tasks where mains power is not available
• Precise angled cuts when trimming door frames, skirting, or cabinetry

Key specifications

• Blade diameter: 16.5 cm
• Maximum cutting depth at 90°: 6.6 cm
• Power source: 18 V battery
• Brushless motor for improved efficiency and runtime
• Adjustable cutting depth and bevel angle
• Compact, handheld design with ergonomic grip

How to use

Ensure the battery is fully charged and correctly installed before operation. Select an appropriate saw blade for the material and secure it according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Set the cutting depth and bevel angle using the adjustment controls, clamp the workpiece if possible, and mark the cut line. Hold the saw firmly with both hands, align the blade with the cut line, start the saw and allow the blade to reach full speed before advancing steadily through the material. After completing cuts, switch off the tool and wait for the blade to stop before setting it down or changing blades.

Recommendations

Use compatible 18 V batteries with sufficient capacity to match expected cutting workload, and choose blades designed for the specific wood type and cut quality required. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment, including eye and hearing protection, and follow standard safety practices for portable circular saws to maintain safe operation.
