IP-beveiligingscamera Hanwha QNF-8010 dome 2048 x 2048 pixels

The Hanwha QNF-8010 Dome is an indoor IP security camera with a 2048 x 2048 pixel resolution designed to provide broad-area coverage in ceiling-mounted installations. Equipped with a CMOS sensor and a fixed 1.14 mm focal length lens, the camera delivers an ultra-wide horizontal and vertical viewing angle of 187° to capture expansive scenes without the need for multi-camera setups. The white, wired unit supports Ethernet LAN connectivity and includes video motion detection for automated event capture. With a minimum illumination requirement of 0.2 lx, it is suitable for surveillance in low-light indoor environments.

Advantages

The camera’s square high-resolution sensor and 2048 x 2048 pixel output provide detailed images across a wide field of view, reducing blind spots for ceiling-mounted installations. The 187° horizontal and vertical viewing angles allow a single device to monitor large indoor spaces, while the fixed 1.14 mm lens simplifies installation and calibration. Wired Ethernet connectivity ensures reliable network performance, and integrated video motion detection enables event-driven recording and alerts. The compact 0.32 kg design and white finish facilitate unobtrusive placement in standard indoor environments.

Suitable for

• Retail sales floors and shop interiors
• Office open-plan areas and corridors
• Reception zones and lobbies
• Small to medium warehouses and storage rooms (indoor)
• Classrooms and meeting rooms

How to use

Install the Hanwha QNF-8010 on a ceiling mount in a position that provides the desired wide-area coverage. Connect the unit to a PoE-capable switch or Ethernet network for power and data transmission according to the network design. Configure the camera’s IP address and network settings via the management interface, then adjust on-screen framing if required; the fixed lens does not require focal adjustments. Enable video motion detection and set sensitivity and detection zones to reduce false alarms. Integrate the camera with your NVR or VMS for recording, live view, and event management.

Recommendations

For optimal coverage, mount the camera centrally in the area to be monitored and ensure there are no large obstructions within the 187° field of view. Use Ethernet cabling rated for your network environment and, where possible, provide power over Ethernet to simplify installation. Calibrate motion detection sensitivity and exclusion zones during typical operating hours to minimize false positives from lighting changes or routine activity.
