Hardtube-fitting 14 mm OPTIMUS — metaal koelvloeistof/pc-waterkoelingsconnector, zilver

OPTIMUS hardtube fitting for 14 mm rigid tubing is a single metal connector in silver finish designed for desktop PC water-cooling loops and custom coolant systems. The fitting creates a sealed mechanical join between segments of hard tubing or between tubing and cooling components, offering a straightforward solution for building or repairing hardline coolant circuits that require a 14 mm compatible connection.

Advantages

The metal construction ensures mechanical strength and resistance to deformation under normal operating conditions, while the silver finish provides corrosion resistance and a neutral aesthetic that integrates with most builds. As a single-piece connector it simplifies routing and reduces the number of joints compared with more complex fittings, and it is compatible with rigid tubing systems that match the 14 mm dimensions.

Suitable for

• Custom PC water-cooling loops using 14 mm hard tubing
• Repairing or replacing a single segment in a hardline coolant system
• Modding projects that require metal, low-profile connectors
• Desktop systems where a sealed, durable join is needed between tubing and components

Key specifications

• Connector type: metal hardtube fitting for rigid tubing
• Compatible tubing size: 14 mm hard tubing
• Finish: silver
• Application: liquid cooling joins between tubing segments or tubing-to-component connections
• Material properties: metal construction for strength and durability

How to use

Prepare ends of 14 mm rigid tubing by cutting square and deburring to ensure a clean surface. Slide the tubing ends into the fitting until fully seated and verify alignment to avoid stress on the joint. If the cooling loop design requires additional sealing, use compatible O-rings or recommended sealing methods for the tubing system in use. After installation, fill and pressurize the loop following standard leak-testing procedures before full operation.

Recommendations

Use with properly sized 14 mm rigid tubing and follow manufacturer-recommended sealing and leak-test procedures. Avoid excessive mechanical force during installation to prevent damage to the tubing or fitting surfaces. Inspect joints periodically for signs of wear or corrosion and replace as needed to maintain system integrity.
