HDMI-A-adapter ShiverPeaks 10-01050 90°-haaks, ondersteunt tot 8K

The ShiverPeaks HDMI-A adapter 10-01050 with a 90° angle changes the orientation of a standard HDMI-A connection to enable neater cable routing and reduce strain on connectors and device ports. Designed for installations where space is limited, this compact adapter supports high-resolution video signals up to 8K and is compatible with standard HDMI-A sockets on TVs, monitors and AV equipment. The small form factor allows placement close to panels to avoid cable bending and to protect both cable and connector from wear.

Advantages

This right-angle HDMI-A adapter provides a low-profile solution for tight installation spaces while maintaining signal integrity for high-resolution video. Its 90° orientation reduces mechanical stress on cables and ports, helping to prolong connector life and prevent accidental disconnection. The adapter is lightweight and portable, making it convenient for use in home or professional AV setups where space management and cable protection are important.

Suitable for

• Rear or side HDMI ports on flat-panel TVs where clearance is limited
• Computer monitors with restricted space behind the stand or wall-mounted screens
• AV receivers, media players and set-top boxes installed in confined cabinets
• Temporary setups and portable displays where quick, strain-free connections are needed

Key specifications

• Connector type: HDMI-A right-angle adapter (90°)
• Video support: up to 8K resolution
• Compatibility: standard HDMI-A sockets on TVs, monitors and AV devices
• Form factor: compact, low-profile design for limited clearance
• Primary function: change connector orientation and reduce cable strain

How to use

Insert the adapter into the device's HDMI-A port, orienting the adapter so the cable exits in the desired direction. Then connect a standard HDMI cable to the adapter's female or male interface as appropriate. Ensure the connection is seated firmly but avoid excessive force. Check that the angled orientation provides adequate clearance from walls or furniture before finalizing the installation. If the adapter makes contact with nearby surfaces, adjust the device or cable routing to prevent long-term abrasion.

Recommendations

Use the adapter when space behind the display or device is constrained and when reducing bending stress on HDMI cables is a priority. Regularly inspect connections for secure seating and avoid using the adapter to bear weight or act as a leverage point for heavy cables; route cables to minimize pull on the adapter and connected port.
