HDMI-D-adapter ShiverPeaks 10-01058 — metalen stekker, ondersteunt tot 8K

The ShiverPeaks HDMI-D Adapter model 10-01058 is a compact metal-housed adapter designed to connect devices that use the HDMI Digital (HDMI-D) interface to compatible displays and capture equipment. The adapter's metal connector shell enhances mechanical durability and shielding; the product supports high-resolution video signals up to 8K as indicated in the product designation, making it suitable for modern high-bandwidth AV setups at home or in professional environments.

Advantages

The metal connector and housing provide increased durability and improved electromagnetic shielding compared with plastic-bodied adapters. Support for 8K resolution enables use with high-resolution displays, media players, and capture devices that accept HDMI-D signals. Its compact form factor facilitates installation in tight spaces behind monitors, TVs or racks and reduces cable strain at the connection point.

Suitable for

• Connecting source devices to 8K-capable displays or capture hardware
• Adapting HDMI-D equipped equipment in home theatre systems
• Professional AV setups where a compact, durable adapter is needed
• Temporary or permanent connections where metal housing improves connector reliability

Key specifications

• Interface: HDMI Digital (HDMI-D)
• Housing material: metal connector shell
• Resolution support: up to 8K
• Form factor: compact adapter designed for inline or close-proximity connections
• Intended use: video/audio signal adaptation between compatible devices and displays

How to use

Insert the adapter's HDMI-D connector into the corresponding HDMI-D port on the source device or display, ensuring proper alignment to avoid forcing the connection. Connect the other end of your HDMI cable to the adapter and the target device. Verify the connected devices are set to compatible output/input modes and, if necessary, adjust display settings on the source device to enable the desired resolution and refresh rate. Handle the adapter by its housing when connecting or disconnecting to reduce stress on the cable and ports.

Recommendations

Use certified, high-quality HDMI cables rated for the target resolution and bandwidth when operating near 8K to ensure reliable signal transmission. Avoid excessive bending or twisting of connected cables, and secure connections in areas with limited access to reduce the risk of accidental disconnection or mechanical damage.
