HDMI-gender-changer ShiverPeaks BS77407-1

The ShiverPeaks BS77407-1 HDMI gender changer provides a compact and practical way to join two HDMI cables. Designed for straightforward signal pass-through, this adapter features gold-plated contacts to improve conductivity and resist corrosion. Its low-profile black housing blends with typical AV setups and helps maintain a clean cable run where an extra length or a change of connector orientation is required.

Advantages

This HDMI gender changer offers reliable signal transfer due to its gold-plated contacts and solid connector fit. The compact, low-profile design reduces strain on cables and connectors in tight spaces and keeps the connection discreet. Constructed for simple plug-and-play use, the adapter does not require drivers or configuration and is compatible with standard HDMI cable wiring.

Suitable for

• Extending an existing HDMI run by joining two HDMI cables
• Reorienting cable layout in home theater or office AV setups
• Connecting devices in confined spaces where direct cable reach is limited

Key specifications

• Connector type: HDMI female to HDMI female
• Contact plating: Gold-plated contacts for improved conductivity and corrosion resistance
• Compatibility: Works with standard HDMI cables and devices following HDMI wiring conventions
• Color and finish: Black housing with compact, low-profile form factor

How to use

To use the gender changer, simply align the HDMI connectors and insert each HDMI cable into the adapter’s female ports until fully seated. Ensure both cable ends are secure and that there is minimal bending or tension at the connection points. The adapter permits immediate use with connected devices and does not require additional setup.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use high-quality HDMI cables with intact shielding and avoid placing the adapter under mechanical stress. If longer runs are required, consider verifying signal integrity with the chosen cable lengths and, where necessary, use active extenders for very long distances or high-bandwidth signals.
