HDMI-kabel e+p HDMV 401/20 20 m

The e+p HDMV 401/20 HDMI cable is a 20 metre HDMI Type A to Type A lead designed for audiovisual connections between TVs, projectors, AV receivers and source devices. The cable features gold-plated contacts to improve contact reliability and reduce corrosion. It supports 3D video transmission and includes an Audio Return Channel (ARC) for sending audio from a TV back to an AV receiver or soundbar. The cable is finished in black and is intended for installations where a longer fixed HDMI run is required.

Advantages

The cable’s 20 m length enables flexible placement of devices without relying on wireless connections. Gold-plated contacts offer improved contact stability and reduce oxidation over time. Support for 3D signals and ARC increases compatibility with a range of consumer AV equipment. The single-cable HDMI connection reduces cable clutter by combining audio and video signals in one run.

Suitable for

• Connecting a television to an AV receiver or soundbar where a long cable run is required
• Linking a projector to a Blu-ray player or media player at a distance
• Home cinema setups that require ARC for returning TV audio to an external amplifier
• Fixed installations in living rooms, conference rooms or classrooms

How to use

Connect one HDMI Type A connector to the HDMI output of the source device and the other connector to the HDMI input on the display or AV receiver. If using ARC, connect the cable between the TV’s ARC-enabled HDMI port and the ARC-enabled input on the receiver or soundbar and enable ARC in device menus if required. Ensure connectors are inserted securely and avoid kinking the cable along its run. For wall or ceiling routing, use appropriate clips or conduits to protect the cable and maintain signal integrity.

Recommendations

For best results keep cable bends gentle, avoid tight coils, and secure the cable at intervals to prevent strain. When routing through walls or conduits, follow local installation codes and use an in-wall rated sleeve if required by regulations. If signal issues occur at long runs, verify connections and settings on both devices; if necessary, consider an active HDMI extender or an alternative signal distribution solution.
