HDMI-kabel Equip HDMI 2.0 actief optisch kabel M/M 30 m

The Equip 11943x Active Optical Cable (AOC) combines optical fibre and copper conductors to extend HDMI signals up to 30 m with no loss or latency. The hybrid design carries high-speed TMDS video and audio signals over multimode optical fibres while control and low-frequency signals use copper wires. This HDMI Cable Equip HDMI 2.0 Active Optical Cable M/M 30m features HDMI Type A connectors, supports 4K at 60 Hz, an 18 Gbit/s data rate and includes Audio Return Channel (ARC), making it suitable for long-distance, high-performance AV links without an external power supply.

Advantages

The cable preserves full HDMI 2.0 bandwidth across long distances with zero signal degradation and no added latency. Its hybrid optical/copper construction maintains reliable transmission of both high-speed TMDS channels and control signals. The AOC design eliminates the need for signal boosters or separate power, and standard HDMI Type A connectors ensure compatibility with most displays and sources.

Suitable for

How to use

Connect one HDMI Type A plug to the source device (PC, Blu-ray player, set-top box) and the other HDMI Type A plug to the display (TV, monitor, projector). The cable is active and requires no external power; it negotiates EDID and HDCP through the integrated copper control lines while video and audio travel over the optical fibres. Ensure connectors are fully inserted and avoid tight bends near the connector ends to maintain optical performance.

Recommendations

For reliable long-distance performance, avoid sharp kinks and maintain a minimum bend radius as specified by the manufacturer. Use the cable for runs up to 30 m where HDMI 2.0 bandwidth and ARC are required; for distances beyond the specified length, consult product documentation or technical support.
