HDMI-kabel ShiverPeaks 30-52085, 15 m lengte, HDMI-signaaloverdracht

ShiverPeaks HDMI cable 15 m (model 30-52085) is an HDMI connection cable designed to transmit audiovisual HDMI signals over a long run. The 15-meter length allows linking source devices such as Blu-ray players, set-top boxes, gaming consoles and PCs to displays including TVs, monitors, projectors and AV receivers in home entertainment rooms or professional AV installations where a longer cable route is required.

Advantages

The cable provides a single-cable solution for uncompressed digital audio and video transmission, reducing the need for multiple signal lines and adapters. Its extended 15 m length enables flexible device placement and routing through walls, under floors or along baseboards while maintaining a direct HDMI connection. The cable is compatible with common HDMI-equipped devices and supports straightforward plug-and-play use without additional drivers.

Suitable for

• Connecting home theatre components to a wall-mounted TV at a distance
• Linking a PC or laptop to a projector in classrooms or meeting rooms
• Connecting AV receivers to displays in living rooms and media rooms
• Temporary or semi-permanent installations where a longer HDMI run is needed

Key specifications

• Cable length: 15 m
• Connector type: standard HDMI to standard HDMI
• Signal type: HDMI digital audio and video
• Use case: point-to-point HDMI connection for audio/video devices

How to use

Connect one end of the HDMI cable to the HDMI output on the source device (for example a Blu-ray player, game console or computer) and the other end to the HDMI input on the display device (TV, monitor, projector or AV receiver). Ensure both devices are powered on and set to the appropriate HDMI input. For best performance, avoid sharp bends and heavy kinks in the cable and route it away from strong electromagnetic sources. If the display does not detect a signal immediately, cycle the input selection on the display or restart the connected devices.

Recommendations

For installations over this length, ensure secure cable routing and strain relief at connection points. When routing through walls or conduits, use appropriate fire-rated conduit or in-wall rated cable where required by local building codes. If signal degradation occurs over long runs in specific setups, consider using an HDMI signal booster, active HDMI cable or HDMI over Ethernet extender designed for extended distances.
