HDMI-kabel ShiverPeaks BS30-05085 15 m

The ShiverPeaks BS30-05085 HDMI cable 15 m is a long-reach connection solution designed for linking HDMI Type A devices across larger rooms. It provides a data transfer rate of 17.819 Gbit/s, supports 3D video content and preserves high-definition audio/video signals over a 15-metre run. The cable is finished in black and features gold-plated contacts on both HDMI Type A connectors to reduce corrosion and improve contact reliability.

Advantages

The cable’s 15 m length enables flexible placement of displays, projectors and source devices without relying on wireless transmission. Gold-plated contacts offer improved conductivity and resistance to oxidation, while the specified 17.819 Gbit/s bandwidth supports typical 1080p, 3D formats and many common AV setups. Using a single HDMI Type A to Type A cable simplifies installation and reduces the need for multiple adapters.

Suitable for

• Connecting TVs and projectors to Blu-ray players, set-top boxes and media players in living rooms or conference rooms
• Home theatre and surround-sound system setups where a long cable run is required
• Gaming consoles and PCs when the display is located remotely from the source
• AV installations in classrooms, meeting rooms and small auditoriums

Key specifications

• Length: 15 m
• Connector type: HDMI Type A on both ends
• Data transfer rate: 17.819 Gbit/s
• Supports: 3D video
• Contact plating: Gold-plated contacts
• Colour: Black

How to use

Connect one HDMI Type A connector to the HDMI output of the source device (for example a Blu-ray player, gaming console or PC) and the other connector to the HDMI input of the display device (TV, monitor or projector). Ensure both devices are powered off when making the physical connection, then power them on and select the corresponding HDMI input on the display. For optimal performance, avoid sharp bends or kinks in the cable and keep it away from strong electromagnetic sources.

Recommendations

For consistent high-definition signals over the full 15 m length, use proper cable routing to minimise interference. If signal loss occurs with particularly demanding resolutions or long multi-cable runs, consider using an HDMI signal booster, active cable solution or switching to a cable certified for higher bandwidths.
