HDMI-kabel ShiverPeaks BS30-05505 50 m zwart

The ShiverPeaks BS30-05505 HDMI cable is a 50 m black cable with HDMI Type A connectors on both ends designed for long-distance digital video and audio transmission. It supports a data transfer rate of 17.819 Gbit/s and features gold-plated contacts to maintain signal integrity. The cable is suitable for installations where devices need to be connected across extended runs while preserving compatibility with standard HDMI Type A ports and 3D content.

Advantages

The cable’s 50 m length enables flexible routing for AV systems in larger rooms or between separate equipment racks. Gold-plated contacts reduce oxidation and help provide a stable electrical connection, while support for 3D content and a specified high data transfer rate ensure compatibility with high-bandwidth video sources. The use of standard HDMI Type A connectors ensures wide device compatibility without adapters.

Suitable for

• Connecting TVs, projectors, or monitors to AV receivers or media players over long distances
• Home theater and conference room installations requiring extended cable runs
• Setups that use 3D sources or high-definition video where a single-cable digital connection is preferred

Key specifications

• Cable length: 50 m
• Connectors: HDMI Type A to HDMI Type A
• Data transfer rate: 17.819 Gbit/s
• Contacts: Gold-plated
• Colour: Black
• Supported content type: 3D compatible

How to use

Connect one HDMI Type A end to the output of the source device (for example, a Blu-ray player, game console or AV receiver) and the other end to the HDMI input of the display device such as a TV or projector. Ensure both devices are powered off when making connections to avoid hot-plug issues, then power them on and select the correct HDMI input on the display. If signal issues occur over the 50 m distance, verify connector seating and try alternative input ports or source settings.

Recommendations

Route the cable away from high-interference sources such as large power cables or transformers, and avoid tight bends or kinks that could damage the internal conductors. For permanent installations, secure the cable with appropriate clips or ties and leave service loops to allow for movement or re-termination if needed.
