HDMI-koppeling e+p HDMI 19 zwart

The e+p HDMI 19 Gender Changer in black provides a compact adapter that connects two HDMI cables with HDMI connectors on both ends. Designed for straightforward cable extension and gender conversion, this adapter maintains a direct HDMI-to-HDMI connection without additional electronics. Its slim black housing fits standard HDMI connectors and is intended for use where a simple, passive link between two HDMI cables is required.

Advantages

This HDMI gender changer offers a reliable mechanical connection between two HDMI cables while preserving the original signal path. The adapter's compact form factor and neutral black finish make it unobtrusive in home entertainment, office, and AV installations. Because it is a passive adapter with HDMI connectors on both ends, it does not require power or drivers and can be used immediately after insertion.

Suitable for

• Extending HDMI runs by joining two HDMI cables
• Connecting HDMI sources such as Blu-ray players or computers to displays when cable length is insufficient
• Temporary AV setups for meetings, presentations, or events
• Home theater and multimedia systems where a simple connector conversion is needed

Key specifications

• Connector type: HDMI to HDMI
• Number of connectors: 2 (female HDMI on both ends)
• Colour: Black
• Form factor: Compact, inline gender changer
• Operation: Passive (no power required)

How to use

To use the e+p HDMI 19 Gender Changer, align the HDMI plugs of the two cables with the adapter's HDMI female ports and insert them until they seat securely. Ensure the connected cables are fully inserted and supported to avoid strain on the connector. After connection, verify that the source device and display recognize the HDMI link and that video and audio are transmitted without interruption. If signal issues occur, check cable integrity and secure seating of all HDMI connections.

Recommendations

For best performance, use high-quality HDMI cables that match the required HDMI specification for your devices (for example HDMI 1.4, 2.0 or 2.1) and avoid creating excessively long combined cable runs that can degrade signal quality. Support the cables near the adapter to reduce mechanical stress and inspect contacts periodically for dust or damage.
