HDMI-naar-DisplayPort-adapter ShiverPeaks 10-01011, 4K, 30 cm kabel

The ShiverPeaks HDMI to DisplayPort adapter 10-01011 is a passive cable solution that converts an HDMI video source to a DisplayPort input. With a 30 cm cable length and support for up to 4K resolution, this adapter enables connection of HDMI-equipped laptops, PCs or media players to monitors or projectors that accept DisplayPort. It is designed for straightforward single-screen video output and presentation setups where a DisplayPort input is required but only an HDMI output is available.

Advantages

This adapter provides a compact and simple way to link HDMI sources to DisplayPort displays without bulky converters. The 30 cm integrated cable reduces clutter on desks and keeps the connection tidy. Support for 4K resolution ensures compatibility with high-resolution panels for clear video output. The passive design allows plug-and-play use with compatible devices, making it suitable for quick set-ups.

Suitable for

• Connecting an HDMI laptop or mini-PC to a DisplayPort monitor
• Presentations where the projector or display only has a DisplayPort input
• Single-screen digital signage or office workstation setups
• Temporary or mobile setups requiring a compact adapter cable

Key specifications

• Connector type: HDMI (source) to DisplayPort (plug)
• Cable length: 30 cm
• Maximum supported resolution: 4K (specified by manufacturer)
• Design: passive adapter cable (no external power or active conversion)
• Intended use: video signal conversion from HDMI output to DisplayPort input

How to use

Connect the HDMI end of the ShiverPeaks adapter to the HDMI output of your laptop, PC or media player, then insert the DisplayPort plug into the display or projector's DisplayPort input. Once connected, set the source device to mirror or extend the display as required through the operating system's display settings. No external power or drivers are required for compatible devices; ensure both source and display support the specified resolution and signal formats.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, use this passive adapter with devices that explicitly support HDMI-to-DisplayPort passive conversion. If you experience no signal, verify the source device output settings and try a different HDMI or DisplayPort input on the display. For longer runs or multi-monitor setups, consider an active converter designed for extended distances or complex signal routing.
