HDMI-naar-DVI-D-adapter ShiverPeaks 77480-MHQ, 1,0 m kabel, vergulde contacten

The ShiverPeaks HDMI to DVI-D Adapter (1.0 m cable) converts a digital HDMI output to a DVI-D input, enabling video transmission from HDMI-equipped sources to displays that accept DVI-D. The cable includes gold-plated contacts to improve contact reliability and reduce corrosion, and its 1.0 m length provides a balance between reach and manageable cable routing for desktop and AV setups.

Advantages

This adapter supports direct digital video transfer without analog conversion, ensuring signal integrity when connecting compatible HDMI sources to DVI-D monitors or projectors. Gold-plated contacts enhance durability and stable connections over time. The single-cable design simplifies setup and reduces the need for additional adapters or converters when only video (no audio) is required.

Suitable for

• Connecting a laptop, media player or graphics card with HDMI output to a monitor or projector with DVI-D input
• Office and home desktop setups where an HDMI source must feed a DVI-D display
• Presentation systems and classroom AV installations requiring digital video compatibility

Key specifications

• Cable length: 1.0 m
• Connectors: HDMI (male) to DVI-D (male)
• Contact finish: gold-plated contacts for improved corrosion resistance
• Signal type: digital video transmission (no analog conversion)
• Typical use: video-only connections (audio not transmitted via DVI-D)

How to use

Connect the HDMI end of the adapter to the HDMI output of the source device and insert the DVI-D end into the DVI-D input on the display. Secure the DVI-D connector if the display has thumbscrews to ensure a stable mechanical connection. Power on both devices and select the appropriate input on the display. Adjust display resolution and refresh rate in the source device if necessary to match the monitor or projector capabilities.

Recommendations

Use the adapter for direct digital video applications where audio routing is not required. For longer cable runs or setups needing audio, consider dedicated HDMI cables with audio-capable outputs or external audio connections. Avoid excessive bending near the connector ends and keep the cable away from large sources of electromagnetic interference to maintain signal quality.
