HDMI-schakelkast ShiverPeaks BASIC-S BS77453-M — 2 ingangen, 1 uitgang

ShiverPeaks BASIC-S BS77453-M is an HDMI switch box with two HDMI inputs and one HDMI output that allows connecting two source devices to a single display. The compact unit supports manual and automatic switching between devices, simplifying cable management and enabling quick selection of a PC, console or media player for use on a TV or monitor. Its small footprint makes it suitable for desktop or home entertainment setups where switching without replugging is required.

Advantages

The HDMI switch box provides reliable signal routing between two sources and one display while keeping a compact design that fits behind a monitor or near a TV. Automatic switching detects the active source and changes output without user intervention, while manual switching allows deliberate selection when needed. The device reduces wear on HDMI ports by eliminating repeated plugging and unplugging and keeps cables organized for cleaner installations.

Suitable for

• Connecting a PC and a game console to a single TV or monitor
• Switching between a Blu-ray player and a streaming device on one display
• Small office or meeting room setups requiring fast source selection
• Home entertainment arrangements with limited HDMI ports on the display

Key specifications

• Inputs: 2 HDMI inputs
• Outputs: 1 HDMI output
• Switching modes: manual and automatic source selection
• Form factor: compact, low-profile enclosure suitable for concealed placement
• Cable connections: standard HDMI connectors for source and display cabling

How to use

Connect HDMI cables from each source device to the two HDMI input ports on the switch box, then connect the HDMI output port to your TV or monitor. Power the switch if an external power source is required (check the device for a power input). The unit will automatically switch to the active source when signal is detected, or you can use the manual switch control to select the desired input. Verify that connected devices and the display share compatible resolution and refresh rate settings to ensure optimal signal transmission.

Recommendations

Place the switch box close to the display to minimize cable length and signal loss. Use high-quality HDMI cables rated for the resolutions you intend to transmit. If you experience issues with automatic switching, use manual selection and ensure source devices are powered in the preferred order to avoid unintended input changes.
