Advantages

The Lappland combines a classic Scandinavian blade geometry with a comfortable ergonomic handle to offer steady cutting performance and reliable handling in varied outdoor conditions. The fixed-blade layout and compact size make it durable and easy to maintain in the field. The design supports precise carving and controlled slicing, while the reinforced spine and blade shape allow for safe light chopping and general utility use.

Suitable for

• Bushcraft and carving tasks
• Camp food preparation and kitchen duties outdoors
• Light chopping and batonning of small wood
• Hiking, backpacking and general utility use

Key specifications

• Blade type: fixed single-edged blade with Scandinavian grind
• Blade profile: compact and versatile for detailed work
• Construction: full-tang style for strength and stability
• Handle: ergonomically shaped for secure grip and control
• Intended use: bushcraft, camping, food preparation, light chopping

How to use

Use the Lappland as a general-purpose outdoor tool: perform controlled carving and whittling with the tip and edge, use the straight edge for slicing food, and apply moderate force on the spine for light chopping or batonning with appropriate wood and technique. Maintain a firm two-handed or one-handed grip as the task requires, keep the blade angle consistent for neat cuts, and avoid twisting motions that could stress the blade. Clean and dry the knife after contact with food or moisture to preserve the blade and handle.

Recommendations

For safe and long-lasting performance, keep the blade sharp with regular honing appropriate to the Scandinavian grind, store the knife in a dry sheath between uses, and choose suitable cutting surfaces. Use protective gloves for unfamiliar tasks and inspect the handle and blade for wear before undertaking heavy-duty chores.
