Onbeschreven databand HPE LTO-7 Ultrium WORM 15 TB

The HPE LTO-7 Ultrium WORM blank data tape (C7977W) provides a compressed capacity of 15 TB and a sustained transfer rate up to 700 MB/s. Designed for archiving and long-term retention, the cartridge uses a 960 m tape with a 5.6 µm thickness and is intended for use in compatible LTO-7 drives. As a WORM (Write Once Read Many) media, it supports creation of tamperproof, compliance-ready archives and, when used in drives that support AES-256, enables hardware-based encryption for additional data protection.

Advantages

HPE LTO Ultrium cartridges are exhaustively tested for reliability and offer high storage density, scalable backup performance and straightforward management. The LTO-7 WORM tape combines large capacity with compatibility across LTO platforms and provides physical immutability for archived data; when used with encryption-capable drives it supports secure, compliant storage. The tape's dimensions and weight make it suitable for standard tape libraries and transport.

Suitable for

• Long-term archival storage and compliance archives
• Enterprise backup and disaster recovery
• High-capacity data retention in tape libraries
• Immutable WORM archives for regulatory requirements
