Hikvision DS-PDCL12DT-EG2 dual-tech plafondmelder (PIR + microgolf), bedraad, 360°, 12m, wit

Ceiling-mounted dual-tech motion detector combining passive infrared and microwave sensing for high-accuracy intrusion detection. The 360° detection pattern covers up to 12 meters in diameter, making it ideal for securing large rooms, hallways, and open areas. Advanced digital processing reduces false alarms caused by environmental disturbances, while the front cover tamper protection ensures the device cannot be bypassed without triggering an alert.

Advantages

Dual-technology verification requires both PIR and microwave sensors to trigger an alarm, drastically reducing false alarms from pets, drafts, or moving shadows. The ceiling mount design provides full 360° coverage with no blind spots directly below the sensor. Configurable NC/NO alarm output integrates seamlessly with most wired alarm panels. LED indicators for alarm, PIR, and microwave status simplify walk testing and diagnostics.

Suitable for

• Residential and commercial intrusion alarm systems
• Large rooms, open-plan offices, retail spaces, and corridors
• Installations where wall mounting is impractical or aesthetics require discreet ceiling placement
• Environments with moderate temperature fluctuations or air movement

Recommendations

For optimal performance, mount the detector on a flat ceiling at 3.6 meters height, away from direct airflow, heat sources, and large metal objects. Use a stable 12 VDC power supply and ensure the alarm panel supports NC or NO inputs. Perform a walk test after installation to verify coverage and adjust sensitivity if needed.
