Hisense 85E8S 85 inch ULED 4K Mini LED smart-tv, 3840×2160, 400 cd/m², Wi‑Fi, HomeOS (grijs)

Hisense 85E8S is an 85" (215 cm) ULED Smart TV with Mini LED backlighting and 4K Ultra HD (3840×2160) resolution. It runs HomeOS and offers built‑in Wi‑Fi and Ethernet LAN for streaming and smart apps. The panel delivers up to 400 cd/m² peak brightness, a 6 ms response time and a typical contrast ratio around 5000:1, making it suitable for large‑screen home cinema, gaming and general media playback.

Advantages

The Mini LED ULED panel provides improved local dimming and better contrast compared with conventional LED panels, while the 4K resolution ensures detailed images on the 85" screen. HomeOS gives access to smart TV functions and streaming services, and the combination of Wi‑Fi and Ethernet LAN enables reliable network connectivity for apps and media. The large diagonal and high contrast make the set appropriate for immersive viewing in a living room or dedicated home cinema.

Suitable for

• Watching films and TV on a large screen
• Console and PC gaming with fast response
• Streaming video apps and Smart TV content
• Shared living-room viewing and family use

When it may not be suitable

This 85" TV is large and requires a spacious room or a suitably sized wall for comfortable viewing; it may be impractical in small apartments or bedrooms. Users seeking the absolute highest HDR peak brightness for very bright rooms should check HDR performance details, as typical SDR brightness is specified at up to 400 cd/m².

For best results, position seating at an appropriate distance for 85" 4K viewing, use moderate room lighting to benefit from the panel’s contrast and calibrate picture presets or use a professional picture mode for accurate colours and HDR playback.
