HiSmart F7 MERV 13 Heat Recovery Ventilation Filter

An F7 (MERV 13) replacement filter for the single-room heat recovery ventilation unit (SKU HT260119). This high-quality particulate filter traps fine airborne particles and improves indoor air quality, reliably guarding against dust, pet hair, cigarette smoke, pollen, mould, bacteria and other harmful pollutants that can penetrate deep into the airways. It is recommended for people with allergies, as it effectively reduces airborne pollen, dust and other allergens. The MERV 13 / F7 class meets the ASHRAE 52.2 (MERV 13) and EN779:2012 (F7) standards for high indoor air quality. A dual-layer design uses a pre-filter to catch larger particles while the F7 media captures finer pollutants, removing 80-90% of particles down to 0.3-1.0 microns, including fine dust, smoke, pollen, mould spores and some bacteria. An antibacterial treatment extends the filter's service life. It can be cleaned with a vacuum cleaner or washed without affecting its performance, though it should still be replaced periodically, typically every 3-6 months depending on conditions, to ensure maximum protection. The rigid pleated construction provides high dust capacity and resists collapsing under airflow, while optimised air resistance helps maintain system efficiency with minimal energy use, ensuring efficient fan operation and a longer fan service life. Quick and easy to install and replace.
