Hoofdtelefoon Philips kinderhoofdtelefoon SHK2000PK/00

The Philips Kids headphones SHK2000PK/00 are wired supra-aural headphones designed for children. Lightweight construction (approx. 100.2 g) and an adjustable ergonomic headband allow the headphones to grow with the child while maintaining comfort. Built with durable, screw-free components and soft noise-isolating ear cushions, they deliver clear, balanced sound from 12 to 22000 Hz while limiting maximum volume to 85 dB for safe listening.

Advantages

These headphones combine a child-focused fit with protective features: an ultra-light adjustable headband, soft ear cushions for comfort and passive noise isolation, and a screw-free durable design that withstands active use. The 32 mm neodymium drivers provide balanced sound reproduction across the audible range, and the 85 dB volume cap reduces the risk of hearing damage during prolonged use.

Suitable for

• Listening to music and audio on wired devices (tablets, phones, MP3 players)
• Use at home, in travel, or during lessons where safe volume is required
• Children aged for whom supra-aural, head-band headphones fit comfortably

How to use

Adjust the headband so the ear cushions sit comfortably over the ears. Plug the wired cable into the audio device’s headphone jack and set device volume to a moderate level; the headphones will cap output at 85 dB. Use the soft ear cushions to improve passive noise isolation and maintain clear sound at lower volume settings. Store the headphones in a dry place when not in use and avoid twisting the cable sharply.

Recommendations

For sustained safe listening, keep device volume at medium settings and limit continuous listening time. Inspect the headband and ear cushions regularly for wear; replace if damaged to preserve fit and safety.
