HP 250W SFF voeding

HP 250W SFF power supply unit is a compact power supply designed specifically for small form factor desktop systems. It delivers a rated output of 250 watts to power the motherboard, CPU and peripherals in space-constrained HP-compatible enclosures. The unit supports standard SFF power connections and is intended for use in system maintenance, replacements or upgrades where a fixed, reliable power source in a reduced footprint is required.

Advantages

The small form factor design reduces the physical footprint inside compact desktops while maintaining a stable 250W output suitable for typical office and home configurations. Compatibility with standard SFF power connectors simplifies installation and replacement in compatible HP chassis. The unit is engineered to provide steady voltage delivery under normal operating conditions, making it appropriate for repair, upgrade or routine maintenance tasks where a factory-compatible power supply is needed.

Suitable for

• Replacing a faulty power supply in SFF HP desktop systems
• Upgrading or restoring power to compact office desktops
• System maintenance and part-by-part repairs in small enclosures
• OEM-compatible builds that require a 250W fixed-output SFF PSU

Key specifications

• Output power: 250 watts rated
• Form factor: Small Form Factor (SFF) compatible
• Connector type: Standard SFF power connections for motherboard and peripherals
• Intended use: Desktop systems in compact HP-compatible enclosures
• Design focus: Reduced physical dimensions for space-constrained cases

How to use

Before installation, disconnect the system from mains power and ground yourself to prevent electrostatic discharge. Remove the chassis cover of the compact desktop following the manufacturer's service instructions, then disconnect the old power supply cables from the motherboard and peripherals. Secure the new HP 250W SFF power supply in the designated bay, connect the SFF power connectors to the motherboard, CPU and storage devices as required, and verify all connections are seated firmly. Replace the chassis cover, reconnect mains power and power on the system to confirm proper operation.

Recommendations

Use this unit in systems that match the SFF form factor and power requirements; avoid connecting devices that collectively exceed the rated 250W output. For safe operation, follow static-handling precautions and the desktop manufacturer's assembly instructions. If persistent power issues occur after installation, check connections and consult a qualified technician or official service documentation.
