The HP 672647-053 Office USB AZERTY French Black is a full-size wired keyboard designed for business and office use. It connects via USB for plug-and-play setup and uses membrane key switches for a quiet, familiar typing feel. The keyboard has an adjustable tilt (0° or 6°), an integrated spill-drain to reduce damage from minor liquid spills, and a durable build rated for up to 20 million keystrokes.

Advantages

The keyboard offers a durable construction suitable for heavy daily use and a quiet typing experience thanks to membrane switches. Its USB interface enables quick deployment and simple plug-and-play installation in corporate IT environments. Adjustable tilt legs and a full-size AZERTY layout provide comfortable typing for French-language users.

Suitable for

• Office and business workstations
• Administrative and data-entry tasks
• Shared or hot-desk environments requiring easy deployment
• Users who prefer a full-size AZERTY layout

When it may not be suitable

This wired USB membrane keyboard is not intended for users who require mechanical switches or customizable RGB lighting. It may also be less suitable for highly mobile users who need a Bluetooth or wireless keyboard.

Key specifications

• Interface: USB (wired)
• Form factor: Full-size (100%)
• Layout: AZERTY (French)
• Switch type: Membrane
• Colour: Black
• Adjustable tilt: 0° or 6°
• Durability: lifecycle rating up to 20 million keystrokes

How to use

Connect the keyboard to an available USB port on your computer; the device supports plug-and-play detection by most operating systems. Adjust the tilt legs to 0° or 6° to find a comfortable typing angle. Clean minor spills according to standard keyboard care practices and avoid submerging the unit; the spill-drain reduces damage from small liquid incidents but does not make the keyboard waterproof.

What to consider before purchase

• Layout: AZERTY French layout—ensure compatibility with your typing needs
• Wired connection: requires an available USB port
• Switch preference: membrane keys for quieter typing vs mechanical switches
• Spill resistance: protects against minor spills but is not fully waterproof

Recommendations

For reliable office deployment, use the HP 672647-053 on a stable desk surface, keep liquids away where possible, and replace keyboards showing significant wear after extended heavy use to maintain typing accuracy and hygiene.
