PoE-adapter Aruba R9M77A IEEE 802.3at 30W grijs

The Aruba R9M77A PoE adapter provides IEEE 802.3at compliant Power over Ethernet delivery with a maximum output of 30W. Designed by HP Enterprise for small networking installations and device upgrades, this compact grey adapter accepts an input voltage of 100–240V at 50/60Hz and converts mains power to a PoE output suitable for compatible access points, IP cameras and other network endpoints. Its small footprint — approximately 89 mm wide, 51 mm deep and 61 mm high — and light weight of 0.1724 kg make it convenient for installations where space is limited.

Advantages

The adapter follows the IEEE 802.3at standard, providing up to 30W of power to connected devices while maintaining compatibility with PoE-aware equipment. The wide input voltage range supports international mains supplies, reducing the need for additional power converters. Its compact dimensions and modest weight simplify mounting and handling during deployment. The neutral grey colour integrates unobtrusively into common networking environments.

Suitable for

• Supplying power to IEEE 802.3at compatible wireless access points
• Powering PoE-enabled IP cameras and surveillance devices
• Feeding network endpoints such as VoIP phones and thin clients that accept 30W PoE

How to use

Connect the adapter to an appropriate AC mains outlet within the specified input voltage range, then connect the PoE output to the powered device using a compatible Ethernet cable. Ensure the target device supports IEEE 802.3at and requires up to 30W of power. Verify secure cable connections and place the adapter in a well-ventilated location to avoid obstructing airflow. Follow any device-specific startup procedures for the powered endpoint.

Recommendations

Use the adapter only with equipment that declares compatibility with IEEE 802.3at and a power draw at or below 30W. Avoid exposure to moisture and extreme temperatures, and route cables to prevent strain on connectors. For reliable operation, install the adapter where it has adequate ventilation and is protected from physical damage.
