i-tec USB-C oplaadbare metalen HUB 7 poorten USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C Type-A

The i-tec USB-C Charging Metal HUB 7 Port USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C Type-A is a compact metal hub that expands a laptop or tablet USB-C/USB4/Thunderbolt port into seven USB 3.0 (USB 3.2 Gen 1) Type-A ports. It provides additional connectivity for peripherals, fast data transfer up to 5 Gbps and supports active charging via an external USB-C power adapter (up to 15W, 5V/3A). The hub is driver-free, has built-in surge protection and a durable grey metal housing suitable for mobile use.

Advantages

The hub offers seven USB 3.0 ports at up to 5 Gbps, allowing simultaneous connection of multiple peripherals such as keyboards, mice and flash drives. It supports charging of mobile devices at up to 7.5W from the hub ports and can accept power delivery from an external USB-C adapter up to 15W to maintain device charging. The plug-and-play design requires no drivers and built-in surge protection helps protect the host device from short circuits on connected peripherals. The compact, lightweight metal construction improves portability and resistance to scratches.

Suitable for

• Expanding USB connectivity on laptops and tablets with USB-C, USB4 or Thunderbolt ports
• Connecting multiple USB peripherals: keyboard, mouse, external HDD/SSD, flash drives
• Transferring files or media at up to 5 Gbps between USB storage devices and the host

How to use

Connect the hub to a compatible USB-C, USB4 or Thunderbolt 3/4 port on your laptop or tablet using the integrated or supplied USB-C cable. Plug your USB peripherals into the Type-A ports to start using them immediately; no driver installation is required. To enable external charging through the hub, connect a suitable USB-C power adapter (5V, up to 3A) to the hub’s USB-C power input — the adapter is sold separately. Observe standard safe-connection practice: connect the adapter to the hub before attaching power-hungry devices if necessary.

Recommendations

Use a USB-C adapter within the specified rating (5V, 3A) for external power to avoid overloading the hub. Avoid exposing the hub to liquids, extreme temperatures or heavy mechanical stress to preserve the metal housing and internal electronics.
