IIYAMA ProLite XB2497HSN-B1 is a 23.8" (60.5 cm) IPS LED monitor with Full HD 1920×1080 resolution and a 16:9 aspect ratio. The monitor delivers accurate colours and wide 178°/178° viewing angles from an IPS panel, combined with a 1 ms response time and 100 Hz refresh rate for reduced motion blur. The matte screen and flicker‑free technology help reduce reflections and eye fatigue during prolonged use. Built‑in stereo speakers and an integrated USB hub simplify desktop setups, while USB‑C docking provides video, data and power delivery over a single cable. The monitor supports HDMI and DisplayPort inputs and offers a DisplayPort output for easy multi‑monitor extension. An ergonomic stand with height adjustment, tilt, swivel and pivot and a four‑side slim bezel design make the XB2497HSN‑B1 suitable for clean, multi‑monitor workspaces.

Advantages

The IPS panel provides stable colours and wide viewing angles, making the display suitable for collaborative and multi‑viewer environments. USB‑C docking reduces cable clutter by combining video transmission, data and power delivery in one connection and adds a wired LAN option when the monitor is networked. A built‑in USB 3.2 hub and DisplayPort output enable easy connection of peripherals and a second monitor without additional adapters. Flicker‑free technology, Eye Comfort certification and a matte surface contribute to reduced eye strain for day‑long office or home use. How to use

Place the monitor on a stable desk surface or mount it using a VESA‑compatible arm. Connect a source device using HDMI, DisplayPort or USB‑C. When using USB‑C, connect a compatible laptop with a single cable to transmit video, data and power; if the monitor is connected to a wired LAN, the laptop can also access the network via the monitor. Use the built‑in USB hub to attach keyboard, mouse or external drives. Adjust the stand height, tilt, swivel or pivot to set the screen to a comfortable viewing position and use the on‑screen display to configure brightness, colour settings and input selection.

Recommendations

For reduced eye strain, enable the monitor’s flicker‑free mode and Eye Comfort settings, keep ambient lighting balanced, and position the top of the screen at or slightly below eye level. When using USB‑C docking, ensure your laptop supports power delivery and video over USB‑C to take full advantage of single‑cable connectivity.
