The PETEX Eiskratzer LKW model 46040000 with telescopic handle 95–150 cm is a manual ice scraper engineered for removing ice, frost and light snow from vehicle windows and mirrors. Its extendable handle lets users reach high or recessed glass areas on trucks, vans and passenger cars while maintaining a firm grip and good leverage. The tool combines a robust scraping blade with a simple, compact construction that folds down for convenient storage in a vehicle.

Advantages

The telescopic handle adjustable from 95 to 150 cm provides extended reach for large vehicles without requiring additional steps or ladders. The scraper blade is designed for effective removal of ice and frost while minimizing the risk of scratching glass when used correctly. The durable handle and straightforward construction make the tool reliable in cold weather and easy to clean and store. Its compact collapsed length reduces space taken in a trunk or cabin.

How to use

Extend the telescopic handle to the required length and secure the locking mechanism before applying force. Hold the ergonomic grip with one hand and position the blade at a shallow angle to the glass, using steady, controlled strokes to push or pull ice and frost away from the window surface. For thicker or stubborn ice, work progressively from the edges toward the centre and avoid applying excessive downward pressure that could stress the blade or the glass. After use, retract the handle to the compact position and store in a dry place inside the vehicle.

Recommendations

Use the scraper on clear, solid ice and light frost; for heavy buildup consider softening the ice first with a de-icer spray or lukewarm (not hot) water. Inspect the blade for damage regularly and replace if worn to avoid scratching glass. Store the tool inside the vehicle when not in use to protect it from prolonged exposure to extreme cold or UV.
