Satellietantenne Telestar DIGIRAPID 60A 60 cm rood aluminium 35 dB

The Telestar DIGIRAPID 60A is a red aluminium satellite antenna with a 60 cm reflector diameter and a 35 dB noise figure. Engineered for outdoor installation, this compact dish provides consistent reception of satellite broadcasts and is suitable for domestic and light commercial setups. The aluminium construction offers a balance of strength and low weight, while the red finish provides a distinctive visual appearance that can assist with location identification on multisite installations.

Advantages

The aluminium reflector ensures corrosion resistance and reduced weight compared with heavier steel alternatives, simplifying mounting and alignment. A 60 cm diameter offers good signal gain for most Ku-band satellite services in areas with moderate signal strength. The specified 35 dB noise figure supports clear reception by helping to maintain a favorable signal-to-noise ratio. The product is intended for outdoor use and designed to withstand typical weather conditions encountered in residential installations.

How to use

Mount the antenna on a sturdy pole or wall bracket with a clear line of sight to the target satellite. Align the dish according to the satellite azimuth and elevation for your location, then secure the mount and tighten fastenings. Connect the low-noise block downconverter (LNB) and run a coaxial cable to the receiver, ensuring all cable connections are weatherproofed. Perform signal strength and quality measurements at the receiver and fine-tune the dish position for optimal reception.

Recommendations

Place the dish where it has an unobstructed view of the southern sky (or the direction of the desired satellite) and avoid nearby obstructions such as trees or buildings. Check and retighten mountings after strong winds or storms, and inspect the aluminium surface periodically for signs of damage or loose fittings. Use appropriate surge protection and waterproof connectors when installing outdoor cabling.
