Inbussleutel Gedore 2797100 10 g

The Gedore 2797100 hex key is a compact, lightweight tool designed for precision tasks in confined spaces. It features a double ball end and a short angled side that improve accessibility and allow work around protrusions while maintaining a low profile. Made from Gedore vanadium steel (59CrV4) with a zinc-plated finish, the tool provides reliable strength and surface protection and weighs approximately 10 g.

Advantages

The double ball ends permit rapid progress by enabling the key to engage fasteners at an angle and to reach around protruding parts. The short angled side and low profile make the tool usable where standard hex keys cannot fit. Its construction from Gedore vanadium steel ensures durability, while zinc plating improves corrosion resistance. The design also reduces the risk of finger injury when working on flat surfaces.

How to use

Insert the appropriate end of the hex key into the hexagon socket of the fastener. Use the ball end when you need to operate the fastener at an angle or to reach around obstructions; use the short angled side when a low-profile entry is required. Apply steady torque, keeping the tool aligned with the fastener to avoid rounding the head. After use, keep the key clean and dry to preserve the zinc plating.

Recommendations

For safe and efficient operation, select the correct size hex key for the fastener, avoid excessive force that could damage the fastener or tool, and store the key in a dry place. Regular inspection for wear and corrosion will prolong service life.
