InfiniBand/glasvezelkabel NVIDIA MFP7E10-N035, MPO naar MPO, 35 m, blauw

NVIDIA MFP7E10-N035 is a 35 m InfiniBand/fibre optic patch cable with MPO connectors on both ends, intended for high-density data centre interconnects. The MPO-to-MPO design supports multi-fibre transmission between switches, transceivers and patch panels. Colour-coded blue for quick visual identification, this multi-mode cable is suitable for short- to medium-range multi-channel links where organised cabling and reliable multi-lane connectivity are required.

Advantages

The MPO-to-MPO connector configuration provides multi-channel connectivity in a single compact assembly, reducing the number of individual fibres and connectors required. At 35 metres, the cable offers flexibility for rack-to-rack and row-to-row connections while maintaining easy routing and strain relief. Multi-mode fibre enables efficient short-range transmission typical for data centre environments, and the blue jacket helps with systematic cable management and fault finding in dense installations.

Suitable for

• Switch-to-switch links in high-density data centres
• Connections between switch and transceiver modules using MPO interfaces
• Patch-panel to patch-panel multi-fibre routing
• Organised cable bundles requiring colour-coded identification

Key specifications

• Cable length: 35 m
• Connector type: MPO to MPO (both ends MPO male compatible)
• Fibre type: multi-mode
• Colour: blue jacket for identification
• Application: InfiniBand and fibre optic data centre links

How to use

Route the cable through the designated cable management pathways, avoiding sharp bends and excessive tension. Align the MPO connector keys and push the connectors straight into the MPO adapters or ports until they seat firmly; ensure dust caps are removed and connector endfaces are clean before connection. Secure the cable to racks or trays with appropriate ties or organisers to prevent strain on the connectors, and label both ends if required for network documentation and future maintenance.

Recommendations

Inspect and clean MPO connector endfaces before each installation using approved fibre cleaning tools. Maintain bend radii according to manufacturer guidance for multi-mode fibre and avoid tight bends near the connector. Use colour-coded cable management to keep MPO trunk paths distinct and plan for adequate slack at patching points to facilitate moves, adds and changes.
